Joseph Publications is an independent press based in Killington, Vermont, that produces children's picture books. Joseph Publications started out under the name Sancho Storybooks in 2005. It published its first title, Sancho the Snowboarder, which became a small success that accrued roughly 300 independent retail accounts. The company went on to publish its subsequent title Things To Do When You're Feeling Blue. In 2009 the company changed its name, published its third book, The Turtle Story. This led to national distribution with Small Press United, the child company of Independent Publisher's Group.
